My sister has been telling me about this great shop that she just loves so I suggested that we go there while I was visiting her. Myy sister made a beautiful bracelet, her 2 girls had fun painting ceramics, I made myself the cutest ankle bracelet. I added dolphins as a memento of my trip to Florida. This shop has something for everyone!!! I wish I had a place like this close to my home. I plan on going back on my next visit! Thank you Maryanne for a fun afternoon!!!!!

Working with such a wonderful person like Maryanne inspires me to be creative. I love to make jewelry and can postively say I have more crystal bracelets than anyone in Clermont. I just love it... I can always count on a good conversation taking place anytime of the day. Maryanne will never turn anyone away when they want to paint or make jewelry. And theres always a helping hand to assist in whatever you decide to do.
My Abby has had her birthday here for the past three years and we have our fouth party scheduled already.
I call this place "My Happy Place". I love it here.

Mary Anne and family are so Great!

I really have enjoyed our years of friendship since the day we found out we were neighbors at a local event around town!

And when she opened up "The Plaster Cottage" has truely been like "God has sent her to Us" as an angel of patience and grace. I have spend many days and nights just relaxing by painting a Plaster Piece or making a few earrings.

It has also served as place to go to remind us about "How the simple things in life" can be rewarding and how beatufil they are when we make and paint a piece from the store with our own hands.

It also allows us to rekindal the artist in all of us when the kids go to make Handprint plates for Mother's day or Adult and kids alike Paint an Ornament for the Holiday Tree or make a friendship or rememberence bracelet for a cause like we used to do!

I have put together so many things...
I've used the Scrapbooking items to help my Son James with school projects and a Little league Poster. I've made gift tags for several occaisions throughout the year.

I've Painted Bowling Plaster Pieces for Table Center pieces and Cake Decoration for my Son's Birthday and Mary Anne helped with her steady hand with Lettering on the pieces.

I've asked for plaster pieces to take home that I use as a great "Things to Do" for the kids at our BBQ party that our family holds yearly.

We come and introduced many friends to "Kids Night" which are alot of FUN for the Parents too. We can go get a bite to eat and know that the kids have had a great time making Art Pieces with Mary Anne and family.

We have even painted an animal figure to help us remember one of our family Cats when she was near death at the animal hospital. Our prayers were answered as she is still with us today and we have her white "Angel" (That's her name too) plaster piece sitting on our shelf reminding us of the quite time we had that day painting that piece while wating for her recovery.

Mary Anne and family have donated thier time and services to several Local Causes and Organizations that I am affilated with and have also opened thier store for me and my District Avon Representatives to hold monthly meetings for which the AVON Ladies in Clermont are very grateful.

We are truely Blessed to have them here in Clermont and in our neighborhood.

Best if Luck to you in the coming years!

The Plaster Cottage is a great place for the family to spend time together. Both my son(6) and daughter(4) love to go and paint. Mary Anne is great with the kids and is always so friendly.
We've made Christmas presents with the kids handprints and birthday presents that family members cherish! Mary Anne runs a fabulous summer camp as well!! My kids went summer of 2007 and have been begging to go this summer ever since!!!
Great products, fun for the whole family, and a smiling Mary Anne everytime! What more could you ask for??

One of the best stores of its kind that I've had the privilege of visiting. A wide selection of objects and abundance of paints means you can loose yourself for hours. A friendly and courteous staff rounds off an always pleasant experience.

I'm sure I will find myself at the Plaster Cottage many more times in the future! Great job guys, keep up the good work!

Being a native to central Florida for over 22 years I can say that there isn't much opportunity for the arts and crafts until this store arrived. I am very thankful that The Plaster Cottage has opened giving me a place to escape and unwind without having to spend a lot of money. I can bring my scrap book from home, work on pieces of jewelry, or paint something to cherish for a life time.
The worst thing about this store is having so many great pieces to chose from that I have a hard time picking my piece of plaster. I want to paint everything!

I am very fond of the new spin art machine that allows me to make really cute pictures in under five minutes.

I would recommend this place to everyone. If you've never painted or are an expert there is something for you. Some customers are even generous enough to leave their finished pieces behind for display giving a tutorial for younger ones.

The owners are super friendly and helpful as well which is awesome.

Try The Plaster Cottage and I promise you will come back for more!

We always have so much fun when we come to the Plaster Cottage and it's because YOU make it that way! You just make people feel so at home when they are at your business. You're the best!

I love this store! It totally rules, for surely. This place has everything you could ever need; paintings (bowls, cups, figurines) Mosaics, Scrapbooks, and Beads! I love everything from the wonderful owners, Mary Anne, Jerry and Amy, to the fun painting experience. I've painted so many things and have finally got the hang of it. Yay for the Plaster Cottage!

This place is so much fun. I've worked here for 3 years, helping with summer camps. Mary Anne Sherrod, the owner, has everything from plaster to paint for little kids or ceramics for the detailed type. I come here every Friday night for kids night and eat pizza and make stuff. I can't begin to describe how fun it is.
